Bryvonlea Princess Mary

Bryvonlea Princess Mary

Bryvonlea Princess Mary, DOB 14/08/06, with her second heifer calf at foot, born 25/04/10, was crowned the Grand Champion Female of the2010 Royal Brisbane Exhibition. Judge, Renee Rutherford of Redskin Droughtmasters, said it was the overall length and an udder with all 4 quarters, full and working, and a quality heifer calf at foot that placed this female as champion. When making her comments of "I believe this female to be an honest, good, functional, longevity breeding female" Ms Rutherford was unaware that it was not quite 10 weeks ago that Princess Mary came home from our Golden Hills Property with her second calf not yet 1 mth old to be prepared for the show. Her previous show record was at the 2007 Woodford Show where at 10 mths she won Junior Champion Heifer since then she has been busy doing her motherly duties as expected. In her preparation for the Ekka she was taken to the 2010 Woodford Show where she won Reserve Champion Female.

Bryvonlea Princess Mary by Glenlands D Jet Set (semen available) from the Billabong Jackson daughter Bryvonlea Princess II paraded with a magnificent heifer calf at foot by Billabong Riley. Princess Mary is the grand daughter of the very first female purchased by the Bryvonlea Stud in 1998, Haigslea 17/5, who was culled in Jan 2010 at 15 years. She epitomizes the breeding qualities required in the Bryvonlea Stud and with her calf at side represents the complete breeding bloodlines we have chosen over the years.

At Bryvonlea Droughtmasters we have always stated "By Heck They're Good" and that is what we aim to breed, Good, Functional, Hard working cattle to suit all your needs.
